3" Split NACCI | 0-1325ºC

GENERAL

The MELLEN Split NACCI furnace operates at temperatures up to 1325ºC in air. It comes standard with 1- and 2-inch diameter tube adapters to allow one furnace to support 1-, 2- , and 3-inch diameter process tubes. The Split NACCI series utilize a high-efficiency ceramic fiber insulation pack that allows the furnace to have fast heat-up rates without compromising element life. There are flexible heated lengths available ranging from 6- to 36- inches.

All NACCI furnaces have an integrated over temperature (OT) alarm protection circuit that cuts power to the elements in the event of an over temperature condition. Three-zone configurations have multiple integrated over temperature alarms to cut power in the event one zone has an over temperature condition. 

HEATING ELEMENTS

The furnace utilizes Exposed APM heating elements capable of 1250ºC in air. These elements are designed specifically to allow the Split NACCI furnaces to support process tubes with a nominal ID as large as the ID of the furnace itself.

Upon request, the Split NACCI elements can be replaced with special, REH alloy heating elements. REH elements are capable of temperatures as high as 1325ºC in air.

The three zone furnaces have 6-inch long end zones to maximize the uniform temperature length inside the furnace.

CONTROLLER 

The furnace system comes complete with integrated dual-display controllers for each zone with 8 Ramp/ Soak/Programs and 8 Segments, including autotune and integrated over temperature alarms. The controller comes standard with RS485 serial communications that allow the user to configure and monitor the system through a computer.
